One Full time position in the Clinical Rehabilitation Division at MHACGC. Human Service worker needed for Supported Employment and Social Club programs. MSW preferred. Bachelors with field experience will be considered.
Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
- Candidate will demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of the psychiatric rehabilitation model. S/he will be flexible, assertive, and comfortable advocating and applying specific recovery principles and practices with adult mental health consumers, potential employers, family members and other collaterals.
- Must be able to work in a collaborative manner with Local Departments of Social Service staff in order to provide on-going engagement, intake, assessment, and vocational case management services for vocatioanlly challenged social service recipients, according to a coordinated and individualized plan.
- Knowledge of local county community service providers a plus.
- Creativity and the ability to manage multiple priorities necessary. Strong individualized engagement, group facilitation and follow-through skills required.
- Must have computer proficiency, clean drivers license, efficient organizational skills, be an effective communicator, and enjoy motivational strategies and teamwork.
Clinician
FT Position in a supportive team-based environment. Seeking clinician to work in our community day treatment program with adults who have a psychiatric disability.
Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
- Master's level Clinician LMSW or LCSW, CRC, ATR-BC, or psychiatric nurse.
- Must have experience in providing diagnostic assessment, formulate individual treatment plans, as well as clinical/case management services on an individual and group basis.
- Experience working with the dually diagnosed population a plus. Good written and oral communication skills, computer skills, and vaild driver's license required.

Residence and Apartment Counselor
MHACGC is looking for individuals seeking a career opportunity in the field of human services. We are dedicated to improving mental health care in our communities.
We have three (3) community residences that provide a group living situation ifor adults with psychiatric disabiities in our community. Our Residence Counselors and Apartment Counselors provide daily contact and instruction that ensures an atmosphere that allows for the privacy, dignity and well being of our residents in a safe, secure environment. We have full time, part time, and per diem positions available in both Columbia and Greene Counties.
